084 - Relics 8

DEMON KING'S ARMORY

A set of armor crafted by a first-era Prince of Hell purpose-driven to seek generals across the ages and worlds, creating Demon Kings to rule mortal realms. The set requires Consortation as the Martyr set requires Ministration. Appearances change to suit taste.
Set Bonus - 2: Consortation is half-off rounding down and stacking, and you only need to "pay" R4 or less summons 1/4th as often and you can fuse Consortation summons with any other magic you have, such as making elemental Imps, now as effective as the rank you fuse with, and combat-willing.
Set Bonus - 4: *Consortation does not count against the magic-ladder of prerequisites. It does not count against the limit of 1 Rank 6 magic either, and you advance it to R6 for free once it hits R5. *You may take the Epic Relic.

LUST GREAVES

SET -8

A set of foot-leg armor, usually accentuating anatomical features with adaptive plates that can move out of the way of things on demand. Extremely comfortable like a second skin, you could even wear them to the bedroom... where they'll feel like warm exotic leather to a lover, yet a metallic bone to others. It's an enchanted mythril plating.
While worn, you will never grow fatigued or tired, muscles never burning out or straining.
Its boots can form spikes to augment kicking, anti-grapple measures... stiletto heels. Likewise, spikes can adaptively form in order to grip surfaces to aid in resisting slips or pushes or aid climbing. Can also help give a boost to sudden movements.

ENVY GAUNTLETS

A set of gauntlets that will always appear to be clawed, though you find the claw (or nail) elements always precisely phase through things adaptively in order to never get in the way of regular use. They're actually very effective for grabbing tiny things and don't get in the way of grasping. Feels like a second skin.
The claws will grow up to 30m on demand with bullet-like speed. The phasing is accurate enough to bypass physical armor to pierce behind it. They can extend this phasing effect to things they touch, such that they (the gauntlet itself too) could lance or grasp a heart and tear it out. Claw/Nails regrow almost instantly if snapped off, which can be done deliberately when its useful.

WRATH SHIELD

Based on a size-changing spacial-anchor adamantine plate similar to the Guardian's Wall, with a different enchantment.
The Wrath Shield will accumulate all harm that the shield intercepts, absorbing all force. This force can be divided up or expended all at once on demand to increase the kinetic force of any blow or magic you choose to apply it to. The rate of exchange beings at 1 tenth the source's force, but the shield will channel your own frustrations and rage to increase the efficiency of this exchange past 1-1 up to 7x the source. Usually the users will anger over the course of a combat encounter, making it stronger over time.
This shield can also be called to your arm/hand at-will.

PRIDE PLATE

SET -16

The core central piece of the armor set. Mostly mythril it has adamantine reinforcements for structural support, and directly over the heart, front and back.
This piece can act as a command module for the rest of the Armory allowing you to customize the appearance of every piece as you wish, among armor styles, or even turning them into a relevant piece of body jewelry, such as an anklet (Greave), ring (Gauntlet), bracelet (Shield), circlet (Helm), or necklace or piercing (Plate). Retaining all benefits with physical advantages translated as logically appropriate.
This armor will grant domination over demon-kind of lesser rank equivalence. Your Consortation requires no payments and you can control the Balor. If you have Conjuration, exchange is now 1-1.

GLUTTON HELM

SET -20

This Adamantine Helm enhances or grants a bite attack which pieces any physical defense- and magical defense, shattering matter and enchantments, without resistance. Bite wounds cannot heal until washed with holy water or Lifeweaving of a rank equal to your max rank. The bite will consume both Body and Soul, so the soul must recover or a regrown limb would still be non-functional. You can consume matter associated with your Affinities in order to regain mana based on rarity/scarcity. Anything consumed is atomized into vented mists, unless converted to mana.
After consuming enough matter with the helm, it merges into your head to replace your skull, further making your bones adamantine. Pride Plate could let you alter your skull, and with Pride Plate you can let this effect extend to biologically incorporate the other Demon pieces. Once all are assimilated, you become DEVILIAN.


CORE CONSORTATION

Summon: Devil Princeling. A more powerful entity than the Greater Demon a Devil Princeling can act as a Patron. This Pact usurps the pact with the demon, freeing you if you had it; You may obtain all 4 Wishes as described and become Demonized with all benefits of the Dalihlah.
You're considered a vassal to the princeling and for this pact, you must do any two Heroic or one Epic Quest which is marked by the Bad-Route icon including with the question mark, to do an evil quest on behalf of the Princeling. In the process as part of the quest(s), you must Sacrifice a Companion.
The Companion is permanently slain and their soul bound to the Princeling. You may steal 1 feature shown at the end of their card. "X has ?,?,?-"


DEVILIAN

Devilian is an advancement to the Dalihlah described by Consortation. Essentially the top of the food chain beneath the Devils themselves, you will still be Vassal to the Princeling associated with your Rank 6 Consortation, but now you may well be their Right-Hand or even adoptive Heir. Devilians are tools for conquest and expanding influence. In other words, they exist to be the generals of hell, though they make assume titles for themselves among mortals, such as Demon King. Unless there's intervention from Hell, you'll generally be the top of the food chain when you're out among normal life.
You retain your previous class. As this is more of a "prestige class", it doesn't alter "starting power", but your CAP is now 140, or 150 for Wizards and Slayers.
A Devilian has two additional GROWTH methods:
Sin-debt and Population.
Sin-Debt is deriving power from the negative "Karma" of engaging with the traditional Deadly Sins, gaining 1 Growth in a day where you've notably participated in any one of the Deadly Sins, and 2 if you embodied it with an excess. You can gain an extra 1 or 2 by making at least one other do the same. No bonus points for times than one.
Population is deriving power from cultivating a new species you create now when gaining Devilian, gaining Population Growth when your species achieves acts equivalent to Questing. ie; Establishing an outpost may net you equivalent to a Folk quest, netting 2, 4, 8, or 16 Population respectively, where an Epic equivalent may be having your minion species take a capitol city. You can exchange Population for Power 1=1 similar to Favor.
Advantage:
All aspects of the Relic Set become inherent biological traits of being a Devilian. You Mana Capacity increases by one stage. You may design a custom species by taking any two existing species as though hybridizing them without a resurrection or charge method, and may give it an innate ability, charge, and resurrection method based on one of your Magic Specializations or perks balanced into a trait they may be more or less gifted in individually. Your race MUST predate on sapient races by one means or another relevant to at least one Deadly Sin. You may apply your race to yourself even as a fourth Amalgam. You can now summon your race using Consortation, yet when you do you create the individual on the spot, using blanked souls from Hell.


You may instead ritualistically bind the relics to a living being. The relics fuse with them, and instead of empowering them, resurrect the Demon King exploding from within. You retain Set Bonuses.

A Demon King that greatly contributed to the fall of the Elf-Rule before the age of humanity. DK Bae views life as a game that she effectively already won, but she embodies all major Deadly Sins... She wont be someone's companion, you'll be hers. You don't resurrect a Demon King for just an ally.
